Knox Cleaning Services LLC – Terms & Conditions
By booking a cleaning service through our website or directly with Knox Cleaning Services LLC, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with booking our services.
Booking Confirmation
Booking online does not guarantee your requested date and time. You will receive confirmation via phone or email.
A non-refundable $70 deposit is required to reserve your cleaning date and time. This amount will be applied to the total cost of the service.

- Commercial Regular Cleaning
Cleaning Crew
We typically work in teams of two; more cleaners may be assigned based on project size or schedule demands. We aim to maintain consistency in staff while ensuring all team members are well-trained and cross-functional.
All our staff are background-checked and held to high standards of professionalism and accountability.
Right to Refuse Service
Knox Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to decline or terminate service due to:
- Safety concerns
- Inappropriate or uncomfortable environments
- Weapons on premises
- Severe clutter
- Disconnected utilities
Cleaners may leave if they encounter unsafe or unsanitary conditions. If deemed unreasonable, you may be charged a $70 cancellation fee.
Cleaning Day Preparation
Please tidy up beforehand so our cleaners can focus on the job. This includes clearing floors, countertops, and tables.
If additional tasks are needed, contact us in advance for a price adjustment.

Pets
We love pets! However, to ensure safety and efficiency, we ask that pet activity is limited during service. If a pet poses a risk or becomes anxious, our cleaners may leave the premises and a cancellation fee will apply.
Service Fees
Initial quotes are based on standard conditions. If your home requires additional time or effort, you will be notified, and pricing may be adjusted. If we are unable to reach you for approval, the team may leave, and the $70 cancellation fee will apply.
Payments
Payment is due on the day of service by cash, check, or credit card. The $70 deposit is required to book and is deducted from the final bill.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds. If something was missed, contact us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the area free of charge.
Recurring Service Discount
Discounts begin after your first cleaning. Skipping cleanings may result in a price adjustment based on reduced frequency.
Rate Increases
Rates may change due to service frequency changes, renovations, number of residents, or other substantial household changes.
Lockouts
If cleaners cannot access your property within 20 minutes of arrival, the service will be canceled and the $70 lockout fee charged. To avoid this, consider providing a key or access code.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so will result in a $70 cancellation fee.
Alarms
Disable your alarm or provide instructions and the code in advance. Notify us of any code changes to avoid a lockout fee.
Vacuum Policy
If you request we use your vacuum, we are not responsible for damage to the unit.
Cleaning Supplies
We provide professional-grade products and tools. If you prefer green or personal cleaning supplies, let us know in advance. We are not liable for issues caused by client-supplied products.
Items We Cannot Clean
We do not clean:
- Mold
- Hoarding situations
- Human or animal bodily fluids or waste
- Litter boxes, bird cages, or similar biohazards
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items
Cleaners cannot:
- Climb higher than a step stool
- Work outside the home
- Move items over 35 lbs.
Please move heavy items in advance if you want areas behind or under them cleaned.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
Though rare, breakage may occur. We are insured for damage caused by our team. However, we are not liable for:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installations
- Undisclosed valuables (e.g., antiques, heirlooms, artwork)
Notify us within 24 hours of any damage or loss. Replacement will be attempted but is not guaranteed.
Arrival Window
We clean between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. While we aim for punctuality, please allow for a 30-minute early to 45-minute late arrival window due to traffic or unforeseen delays.
Observed Holidays
We do not provide service on the following holidays:
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving & Black Friday
- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
You will be contacted to reschedule if your appointment falls on one of these days.
Inclement Weather
If local schools close due to weather, Knox Cleaning Services LLC will also cancel services. A reschedule will be arranged.
Key Release
Client keys are securely coded and stored. If you choose to leave a key in an unsecured place (under mat, etc.), we are not liable for any loss or damage. Upon service termination, keys will be returned within 48 hours or the next business day.
Non-Solicitation of Staff
Clients agree not to hire our staff directly. Considerable resources go into their training and background checks.
Governing Law
All terms and disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
